Allu Arjun, the Telugu action hero who is a familiar face to Malayali audiences thanks to his dubbed films on TV channels and theatres, will be in Kerala soon.
Allu being roped in by King Events to inaugurate the refurbished showroom of Emmanuval Silks in Kottayam on March 25.
What is the appeal of non-Malayali stars who charge astronomical sums for such appearances? “Allu Arjun has a bigger fan base here in Kerala than in Andhra,” says Kewin Shekar, MD, King Events. “Also, it will be a different experience for the movie buffs here to see superstars like Katrina and Kareena.”
